Our First Week: Thank You, and Our Promise to You
Hi Wanderers,
It's been a week since Fallen Tear: The Ascension launched. Six years of work, and you were with us from the start. Thank you for every share, recommendation, bug report, and piece of feedback. You helped shape this journey.
Launch taught us a lot. Players love the art, combat, and Fated Bonds, and that gives us confidence. But our reviews moved from Very Positive to Mixed because of bugs, unclear guidance, and early moments where players felt lost. We take that seriously.
I grew up getting lost in games like A Link to the Past and Hollow Knight, and that's the feeling we wanted for Raoah. But discovery only works when you have enough clues to make your own choices. That's what we're fixing.
Already fixed in Patch 1.0.1:
- Enemies leaving combat areas
- Inconsistent water pipe traversal in Ageuan
- A boss teleporting behind its gates
- Bloodmoon enemies breaking objects they shouldn't
- Visual clues added to a hard-to-find hidden area
- Bloodmoon system adjusted based on your feedback
What we're focusing on next:
- Bugs and stability, especially anything that blocks progress
- Clearer guidance, with better objectives and clues while keeping exploration
- A smoother early game, so the systems make sense sooner
We'll stay in full transparency mode the whole way.
We know trust grows through what we deliver, and we're committed to earning yours. If you believe in what we're making, share it with a friend, leave an honest review, or stay with us as we keep improving.

From all of us here at CMD Studios and Winter Crew, thank you for making our dreams a reality.
See you in the World of Raoah. ❤️
Stephen and the CMD Studios team
